“Assalamu’alaikum, I’m Flora “Farah” Tavu, a revert. My journey is like the endless dunes, ever-shifting, but always heading towards a purpose. Welcome to my humble corner of the digital desert. Here, I journal about seeking knowledge, finding oases of wisdom amidst the vast sands of life, while walking the path of an Autism parent. In my spare time, I also weave together books and notebooks, both in digital formats and in physical print.”

As a dedicated life-long seeker and advocate for both personal and spiritual growth, Farah is deeply committed to blending Islamic wisdom with modern-day productivity principles. Her ultimate vision is to help others align their personal goals with their faith, providing tools and insights to increase Barakah (blessing) and productivity in daily life.

With a career spanning across various fields, Farah now focuses on sharing her journey and expertise through FLORILEGIUM and florilège Press, both of which provide a variety of resources that encourage spiritual and personal development. Farah’s work centers on creating space for others to grow spiritually and intellectually, particularly through journaling, writing, and reflective practice.

In addition to these ventures, Farah is a full-time mother to a child with autism, a role that has shaped her profound understanding of patience, dedication, and the importance of supporting diverse needs within the family structure. She actively advocates for autism and inclusive education, as a member of Autism Without Borders. This personal journey is deeply intertwined with her professional path, as Farah uses her platform to support the autism community and encourage others who may be walking similar paths.

As a certified educator and an active writer, Farah’s passion for teaching, content creation, and community building is evident in both her professional and personal life. Prior to embracing full-time publishing, Farah held roles in academic administration, project and event management, as well as marketing.

Additionally, Farah’s work is underpinned by certifications in da’wah training, and years of experience in multimedia (mainly Web Dev) and content creation. She is driven by the principle of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) and hope to leave a lasting legacy through her projects that benefit both the Muslim Ummah and global communities.
