Flora Tavu is self-published author of a collection of short stories and poems, Moments of Nil. Professionally, she was an educator who took the plunge to pursue her lifetime dream of writing amidst being at the peak of her career. Her educational background in Multimedia and Web Development as well as her professional background, the former half in Event Management and Advertising Industry and the later half in Education Management and Andragogy, not only gave her exposure to skills that will last a lifetime but also serves as valuable asset as an independent Creative. She now pursues further Islamic Studies, while writing for this study journal.

- florilège Press reserves the right to sell an alt-version of these digital products under the terms below:
- The content of the alt-version should be agreed upon with the collaborator.
- The design will be slightly different and branded under florilège Press.

“The inspiration for this project started in 2021, when my sister was on her journey to reverting to Islam. During that time she lived with me and my little family, where she randomly asked me questions about the Deen. I have to admit there were a few questions that left me dumbfounded. This kickstarted my own ilm seeking and found myself doing online da’wah courses, participating in halaqah(s) and attending webinars.
I was humbled by the many things that I realised I haven’t touched as a revert of a few years. But this didn’t leave me disheartened. On the contrary, I was motivated to pursue further Islamic Studies. I hope to apply what I learn, even on a small scale through writing on this journal and producing digital products that may be useful for any Muslim — born, revert, convert, and especially those who are still on the way to believing.”
